memorial  guestbook  funeral details   Mum was a strong and amazing lady who tried to face up to lifes challenges in a positive way and lived her life to the max and on her own terms.

She had a passion for music, dance and the theatre and expressed her creativity through drawing, needlecraft and paint.

During her life she travelled to many places and would regle us with stories and anecdotes of all the people and placesshe had seen.
Her last expedition was to Bangalore to see her aunt and cousins.

Our mum was always a free spirit who felt much constrained by the mental-confines of her Alzheimer’s and the physical-constraints of her Nursing Home and so she prayed daily for God to grant her freedom

For Mum, this event was not to be one for sorrow but rather for the celebration of a full life: she would have been 80 in December. At least now, with God’s grace, she will, once again, be able to wander at will – free as a bird!
