memorial  guestbook  funeral details   John was the kindest, warmest, big-hearted man to know. He loved his family & friends so much. He
adopted his grandchildren, they were his life.
He was a hard worker & a great provider. He was able to solve any problem that arose at home or at
work. He was the fix-it man! He was employed by Covanta Energy & will be missed by all his friends
there.
John loved to go fishing & camping. He would take his son out on the boat to go deep-sea fishing in Morro Bay, knowing he'd get sea-sick. There are so many memories of trips taken...some so funny &
are re-told again & again.
He will always be remebered as "Santa Claus". He not only did it for the family, but also went to
friends homes. Everyone had to "sit on Santas lap" and answer the question, "Have you been good this year?"! He really loved the suprised looks on peoples faces, especially children when he knew "so much" about them.
